Hey Randy, thanks for the thumbs up.

Yes it has been a long time, I've been re-organising the way I do things...... to my way lol.
Fairly new to this blogging thing so I'm still learning the ropes etc. Been doing loadof promo graphics for people so hopefully thhey'll turn into customers.
I'm also in the process of setting up two membership websites with one of them having a sister site in the form of a JV Giveaway. I know there are loads of giveaway events, but this one is only going to have quality products. I can't say too much or someone else will pinch the idea I have (-:

Thanx for the visit Randy and you take care.

Wow Val,

Somebody has been busy....lol

Looking good!!

You seem to be turning into something of an expert at all things these days - No wonder I haven't seen you around for a while, it's almost like you've been to University and learnt some amazing new skills!

Good luck - and keep up the great work :)

Warm Regards
Randy

I was just about to start re-writting this article, but something else has corpped up.
I will be re-writting/editing it soon and I shall certainly take your comments on board and implement them.
Take care.

Val,

Your point about video and audio is a good one. We also need to remember not to assume that the visitor is at home. They might be viewing your page in their workplace. Loud audio may not be appropriate and in some cases might get them into trouble.

That's why it's also important, generally, not to make the video, or audio autoplay. Give the visitor the choice!

One other thing: not everyone can hear. If the only way to get your content is by listening to it then we are disenfranchising people with hearing difficulties.

A good audio, or video, should rarely stand alone. There usually needs to be good written content too. I see too many marketers these days who use audio, or video, as a substitute for doing the work of putting up a page with any real content.

It should be an enhancement to what is there - not a substitute.
